SAEKAPHEN sets benchmarks in anti-corrosion protection
Corrossion processes lead to severage damage and billion losses for the economy. Only in Germany the annual loss is over 10 billion Euros. Increasing investment and operating costs endanger the economy of
whole production facilities, in particular in the petrochemical and chemical industry. Thus repair and
maintenance costs increasingly burden
the industry.
SAEKAPHEN was founded in
the early fifties and could secure a
continuous growth so far, which still continues due
to increasing investments in the petrochemical
and chemical industries, in particular in emerging countries in the Middle East and in Asia. SAEKAPHEN sets standards in the area of corrosion protection.
The
SAEKAPHEN coating technology stands for
protection of the equipment, safety for processes for more
than 50 years. Coating materials and process technologies
were developed which comply with all requirements of a reliable corrosion
protection. Especially in tube-bundle heat exchangers the SAEKAPHEN-technology prevents dangerous fouling and incrustation.
SAEKAPHEN
coating materials are manufactured as thermosetting
plastic polymer combinations based on own recipes. They
are applied in multiple layers by special process
technologies using the flood or the spray method.
A computer steered thermal treatment in specifically designed polymerization ovens forms homogeneous, hard flexible, nonporous
and chemically highly resistant protective coatings. Heat-cured SAEKAPHEN coatings are
durable up to 220°C. Year by year over 1 million
m² surface of tube bundle heat exchangers and plant components are coated worldwide
– this confirms the optimal protection
of operating facilities and processing units.
